Businesses Where I Can Use My Irish

One of the questions that often comes up on the internet is “Where are businesses that will serve me using Irish?”  Below is a list of some establishments that will give you the opportunity to interact with the staff through Irish.  If you know of another business please let us know so that we may add to this list.  If it is on the list below it is an establishment where I did my business entirely through Irish (if it is in italics it means a friend did) .  There are some lists of business that say they are willing to serve you as Gaeilge as well, but keep in mind that some of these have only one Gaeilgeoir on staff.

2018 has been declared “Bliain na Gaeilge” by An Taoiseach, and in turn has produced this list of Irish language businesses that are participating: http://eolaire.peig.ie/en .
As this list may change, I will leave the link but include all the businesses that were there at the beginning of 2018 below.
